I told them to remove the mask which was reluctantly done as I saw him take his last breath. Mac was there on the first day & again when I just picked up Duchess' remains - she & the whole staff took time with me & extended the greatest compassion and care as I helped my dog at the end of her phenomenal life. The staff allowed me to take Duchess to the grassy area along Blackberry Lake to say good-bye to her one last time. She was bleeding out of her nose & mouth slightly for a few weeks - then profusely in the final days of her life, which is when we realized she had no platelets in her blood. This staff is made up of angels! They are angels on earth! I was blessed to have found out about them when my beloved baby girl Duchess became mysteriously ill.
